All black and white film originals can be purchased as either silver gelatin or GiClée digital prints. All color film originals can be purchased as either color dye diffusion or Giclée digital prints. Black and White traditional prints are made on the highest quality fiber-based photographic paper available. Currently we are using Forte products due to their high silver content which provide dense, rich blacks and a broad tonal range. Color dye diffusion prints are produced on Fuji Crystal Archive paper which is the current Standard in reproduction quality and archival durability within the traditional color photographic processes.
Both color and black & white digital prints are produced with the current '800' Series of EPSON printers utilizing the EPSON Archival or UltraChrome K3 inksets and EPSON Premium Luster Photo Paper. The archival quality of this paper and ink combination is currently rated by Wilhelm at 150 to 200 years as compared with the 32 years for the dye transfer process.
We do not do any framing. All prints can be supplied either matted or unmatted. All matting is done with archival, acid-free museum grade mounting board and overmat. A generous border is provided to allow for a signature and print sequence number in the lower left hand corner of your original limited edition print. Print numbers are alotted by print size, each print size retains a unique numerical sequence. Each sequence will be limited to a total run of 200 prints.
Matting sizes for prints are provided with approximately 3" borders which allows for standard frame sizes. Should you decide to alter the matte proportions to meet your specific criteria, a local frame shop in your area will be able to assist with any custom requirements. Matted and mounted prints will be shipped flat in a bend-proof envelope. Unmatted prints are delivered 'rolled' in high grade shipping tubes.
Shipping costs are calculated on the following basis:
Unmatted Print: Please add 5% to the print cost.
Matted Prints: Please add 10% to the print cost.
