Orphan works legislation continues to be considered by Congress while a coalition of
organizations that represent content providers have made solid efforts to guide
the proposed bill in a direction that will protect the intellectual property
rights of artists and other creative content originators. Hearings have been completed
and a series of public roundtable discussions have been underway.
